1853 Dailuaine Distillery
1891 Dailuaine-Glenlivet Distillery Ltd. was founded.
1898, Dailuaine-Glenlivet and Talisker Distillery Ltd. were fused to Dailuaine-Talisker Distilleries Ltd.
1899 Charles C. Doig designs a new distillery with a pagoda like roof that becomes a standard design for Scottish distilleries.
1917 After damage from a fire the distillery was closed.
1920 Reopened
1925 Purchased by Distillers Company Limited DCL
1960 completely renovated and enlarged to house 6 stills.
1987 taken over by United distillers, now Diageo.
Only 2-3% of the distillery production goes to Single Malt production. The remainder meeting the blending contracts for the Johnnie Walker range of blends.
